MINDSGN STUDIO (PTY) LTD ("we", "us", "our") built the Legal Buddy app ("the App") as a conversational legal document assistant. Upload contracts and chat with them to get plain-language explanations.. This Privacy Policy describes the information we handle, how we use it, and the choices you have.

• Documents you upload (contracts, agreements, PDFs). Documents are processed to answer your questions.
• Chat messages you send about your documents.
• On-device privacy filters: where enabled, document text is processed locally and never leaves your device.
• We do not sell your documents or use them to train shared models.

2. How We Use Information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the App's core features.
• To sync data you explicitly enable across your own devices.
• To respond to support requests when you contact us.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

Where data is stored locally, it stays on your device and never leaves it unless you opt in to sync. Where cloud features are used, data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and stored in access-controlled infrastructure. You may delete your data at any time from within the App.

4. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party service providers for infrastructure such as cloud storage, app analytics, or push notifications. These providers only process data as needed to deliver their service and are bound by their own privacy commitments.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
